The feeling at Galley Bay is one of solitude and seclusion, an exclusive retreat perfect for the most discriminative traveller! The resort is on Five Islands which is a short 5 minute drive to Antigua's capital St. Johns, where you will find excellent shopping, sites and restaurants.


Galley Bay's 70 rooms are nestled in 40 acres of beautiful gardens with a historic windmill, a lagoon, bird sanctuary and a very private 3/4 mile white sand beach. You would imagine that you would feel lost in a 40-acre resort, however, on arrival you are whisked to your room in a golf cart and all of the amenities and rooms are within quick walking distance.


Galley Bay offers a variety of accommodations most of which have Ocean views like the Premium Beachfront Suite, Deluxe Beachfront and Superior Beach Front. The Gauguin Cottages take their inspiration from Tahiti and have a garden or lagoon view. The Gauguin Cottages were renovated in 2004 making a great room category even better with the addition of a plunge pool.
